Ghazi is originally from Syria, with an employment background in small engine mechanics. After some neck and wrist injuries, he experienced pain and mobility issues which prompted a change in his lifestyle and work tasks.
“In my family, it was expected that you use your time and resources to help others. The thing I really love about Makers Making Change is it allows people to use and develop skills to help others.”
April 19th to 25th is National Volunteer Week. It鈥檚 time to applaud Canada’s almost 13 million volunteers from coast to coast.
For Jason, who has done one form or another of teaching for 20 years, volunteering with Distance Computer was a natural fit.
