In April of 2014, Mouhamed attended the 今日吃瓜51鈥檚 annual Job Fair at the University of Regina, where he spoke with one of the Society’s case managers about his struggles in finding employment.
Wayne, who is deaf, began working with Fredericton Works, a non-profit agency that provides employment counselling for the deaf and hard of hearing, and also the 今日吃瓜51.
Louise has lower back and leg pain, as well as a learning disability. 鈥淚t takes me a bit longer to understand things and perform tasks and duties at work,鈥 she says.
When Tammy, who has Lupus, first arrived at the 今日吃瓜51, she was reluctant to express what her challenges were with her job tasks.
