WorkBC Assistive Technology Services Helps David Purchase Hearing Aids

David is a teacher on Vancouver Island, and he has hearing loss.

WorkBC Assistive Technology Services participant David.Through WorkBC Assistive Technology Services, he received funding for the hearing aids he needs for work.

“The assistance in buying my new hearing aids is a great gift I received, and I wish to express my gratitude,†he shares.

David has noticed a big difference in his ability to hear with his new hearing aids, and is looking forward to using them at work.

“It has made a great difference and having had hearing difficulties most of my life, it is a joy to feel more confident having this technology which I could not purchase on my own,†he says.

“I will be going back into the classroom to teach next week and I feel confident this will be very helpful.â€


WorkBC Assistive Technology Services is operated by Neil Squire. Assistive Technology Services are available to individuals who have a work-related barrier due to a disability or a functional limitation. This may include barriers related to traveling to and from the workplace.
