For Nancy, it was a treat to finally meet her Digital Jumpstart trainer, Erin, in-person at our Moncton office.
As an occupational therapist working in schools in Summerside, PEI, Anne-Marie Peters has a lot of experience with adaptive switches, and helping the children she works with to use them. So, when a colleague told her about a Makers Making Change event in nearby Charlottetown where she could be making her own switches, her interest was piqued.
The build was held in partnership with STEAM PEI, a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire young Islanders to pursue learning and careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art and math.
Jacob was looking for a summer job. His methods and resources teacher at his high school in Elmsdale, PEI referred him to Neil Squire鈥檚 Working Together program.
