鈥淚 can honestly say I would not be able to work as efficiently as I can now without the LipSync. I haven鈥檛 found anything that works even close to the LipSync, allowing me to not only work, but connect with my peers and community virtually,鈥 Ean says.
For the fourth iteration of the LipSync, we鈥檝e completely re-designed it from the ground up, with new hardware and new software. It is now easier to use, easier to build, and provides greater user independence.
During the first week of December, the Makers Making Change team from across Canada came down to our Burnaby Head Office for team meetings and planning sessions, as well as team bonding activities. One activity the team got to participate in was an internal build event for the new LipSync that our research and development team has been hard at work on.
As our Research and Development team works towards the release of the LipSync X later this year, we wanted to shine a light on some of the internal testing our team has been doing.
Marla Calder, an occupational therapist at the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation in Fredericton, New Brunswick has some great successes with the LipSync.
