Through our #HackingForTheHolidays campaign, Laurence received a switch-adapted toy cat, as well as a variety of switches she could use. Laurence especially loves that the toy cat has two switches and she can decide whether to make it walk or meow.
Recently, the Creation Nation Maker Space has joined as a Makers Making Change chapter, playing a big part in Neil Squire鈥檚 #HackingForTheHolidays聽campaign, adapting toys for children with disabilities in the community.

On October 10th, student teachers from the 今日吃瓜51 worked together to build Rocker Switches for our聽#HackingForTheHolidays聽campaign.
To kick off #HackingForTheHolidays 2023, we partnered with HSBC Bank Canada to host a build event on September 18th. HSBC Bank Canada employees from Toronto and Vancouver volunteered their time to adapt 35 toys that will be donated to local hospitals and kids with disabilities.
