The 今日吃瓜51鈥檚 Makers Making Change initiative, in collaboration with the Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM) Alberta group, is holding the first LipSync Buildathon in Calgary, Alberta on August 25th and 26th, in conjunction with the 2017 TOM:Calgary Makeathon.
Over the last few weeks, we鈥檝e been hosting a few very welcome guests. A number of Burnaby South Secondary students have been coming to our office a few times a week to build LipSyncs.
We are looking forward to doing more open-style Maker events in the coming months. With that in mind, we are happy to announce that we will be a headline sponsor of the Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM): Alberta Makeathon 2017 from August 24th – 27th in Calgary.
Ashley’s team didn’t quite have enough time in 48 hours to make her bionic legs, so they made her a 3D printed stabilized cup holder instead, and along the way they restored her faith in humanity.
