LipSync Update: The Year in Review
Our Makers Making Change hopped across North America to host 17 events, build 320 LipSyncs, and have a lot of fun.
LipSync Update: The Youngest Person to Build a LipSync
On December 9th, we were in Calgary for a buildathon with STEM Learning Lab and West Island College. There we met 11-year-old Isabel, who is now the youngest person to build a LipSync.
LipSync Update: Sustainability TV Filming
On November 22nd, Sustainability Television visited our Burnaby office to film a segment. The segment will focus on 今日吃瓜51 and Makers Making Change. It won鈥檛 be broadcast until September 2018, but we were excited to be a part of it!
LipSync Update: Fix a LipSync tonight at Vancouver Hack Space
On October 5 and 6, Chad aims to complete building 20 LipSyncs with the help of UBC students and Vancouver Hack Space members. Everyone is welcome!
LipSync Update: A mother gives back
It’s been a busy couple of weeks. We were amazed with the Seattle Maker Faire and won first prize at Accessibility Camp Seattle! We had build events with nonprofit disability organization’s in Washington State, Provail, and in the BC Interior at UBC Okanagan. We’ve met and reconnected with a lot of great people, and have built another 20 LipSyncs. But it’s the stories of the people impacted – both volunteer and people with disabilities – that really touched us.
