About two years ago Judi began feeling pain and numbness in her hands. It turned out to be a severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome. 鈥淚t was a condition that was making me wake up in the middle of the night,鈥 Judi explains. 鈥淚t was really impacting my ability to do this or any other office job.鈥
Ken is a retired engineer. Having used computers nearly 鈥渁ll [his] life,鈥 and with 鈥渓ots of time鈥 on his hands, Ken wanted to do something to help others.
The TOM:Calgary Makeathon was a resounding success! There were many great projects designed to help create access.
Jack is a visual effects artist. With his hearing impairment, it was difficult for Jack to receive feedback on his work 鈥 an important part of the process in the production of visual effects. He was worried that it would be a barrier to moving up in his career.
