Neil Squire and their Makers Making Change initiative joined forces with Electronic Arts (EA) today to hold one of the first gaming tournaments of its kind in North America, one in which all of the participants were gamers with disabilities who used assistive technology to play.
Electronic Arts (EA), a global leader in digital interactive entertainment, has partnered with Neil Squire, the Canadian leader in assistive technology, and their Makers Making Change initiative, to host Powered to Game, an accessible gaming tournament for gamers with disabilities, on November 27th at EA Vancouver.
Yesterday our Tech for Goodâ„¢ team was at TELUS Garden in Vancouver for an accessibility workshop followed by a series of one-on-one accessibility consultations.
