Tammy鈥檚 tenacity paid off when she interviewed at an employment support agency that helps people with developmental disabilities in Lethbridge, Alberta. Though Tammy did not have field experience, she impressed the hiring managers with her enthusiasm and perseverance.
Melissa-Ann had heard about Neil Squire through word of mouth and decided to join our Working Together program (now called Creative Employment Options) to find full-time warehouse administration work.
Kent was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, depression, and ADHD. He also spent many years battling addiction, which inspired him to want to help others like him.
The initiative sees us working with community partners across Canada including rehab hospitals, and we provide them with gaming gear, resources, and training. Our partners become GAME Checkpoints where people with disabilities can access those resources.
