Neil Squire Prairie Regional Manager Nikki Langdon has been appointed by the Government of Saskatchewan to the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) Board.
Nikki was appointed to represent and advance the furthering of persons with disabilities in trades in Saskatchewan.
The SATCC oversees and administers the apprenticeship and trade certification system in Saskatchewan. The SATCC is an industry-led, arms-length government organization dedicated to training apprentices and certifying tradespeople.
The board is made up of twenty or fewer members who are appointed by the Provincial Government. The majority of the members of the Board are selected by industry, equally representing employers and employees. The Commission Board also has representation from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Provincial Government and equity groups. The Commission reports to the Minister of Immigration and Career Training.
