September 13, 2017

Ken is a retired engineer. Having used computers nearly β€œall [his] life,” and with β€œlots of time” on his hands, Ken wanted to do something to help others.

He decided to become a volunteer for the ½ρΘΥ³ΤΉΟ51’s Distance Computer Comfort program, and help people with disabilities learn computer skills

His brother had become a quadriplegic at an early age, and he had seen the opportunities that using computers had afforded him.

β€œI worked with him and watched him learn all about computers and become a great contributor to society through his work with computers,” Ken explains.

Living in Calgary, Alberta, Ken teaches people across Canada without having to leave the comfort of his home.

β€œI can stay in my lovely chair here and work with people all around Canada,” Ken shares.
