Ken is a retired engineer. Having used computers nearly βall [his] life,β and with βlots of timeβ on his hands, Ken wanted to do something to help others.
He decided to become a volunteer for the ½ρΘΥ³ΤΉΟ51βs Distance Computer Comfort program, and help people with disabilities learn computer skills
His brother had become a quadriplegic at an early age, and he had seen the opportunities that using computers had afforded him.
βI worked with him and watched him learn all about computers and become a great contributor to society through his work with computers,β Ken explains.
Living in Calgary, Alberta, Ken teaches people across Canada without having to leave the comfort of his home.
βI can stay in my lovely chair here and work with people all around Canada,β Ken shares.
