Sherry is working hard towards gaining employment, studying for an accounting and bookkeeping course. But she was finding it hard to put the hours in she needed to study with the pain she was feeling.
鈥淪ince starting the program, I am working 50 hours every two weeks,鈥 beams Kathleen. 鈥淚 still get to hang out with my friends and family after work and do all of my regular duties.鈥
鈥淚 have learning challenges which make it difficult to write and to scroll, and so for the longest time I had to allow other people to do the text messaging for me and then read it back to make sure that鈥檚 what I wanted them to send.”
