鈥淢y hearing ability had diminished drastically, and I was unable to function at my best. I do a lot of phone intake with women, this is one of the most difficult phone calls they make and not to be able to hear properly was unforgivable,鈥 Marie explains.
鈥淚鈥檓 never a one trick pony,鈥 says Richard Peter. As an Indigenous leader, five-time Paralympian, mentor, sports advocate, research champion, husband, son 鈥 and so much more 鈥 this is an understatement.
鈥淚 have been [given] a 5-star rating [by] many clients and the company that I work for is very happy with me as they receive [lots of] positive feedback in regards to my work performance. Some clients have personally told me that I鈥檓 doing a stellar job. I am now in high demand.鈥
鈥淚t’s much easier and more comfortable to hear, which means I can spend less cognitive energy on deciphering what just happened, and more energy on executing the unique skills and expertise that I bring to my workplace.鈥
