Today, Roy uses a computer to manage the administrative tasks for his music career, and to work on his weekly radio show 鈥 doing audio editing, script writing, making the playlists, and research. He uses the JAWS screen reader to navigate the various programs on his computer.
“My interaction with co-workers has greatly improved,鈥 Gary says. 鈥淗aving hearing aids gives me the ability to participate in meetings and the confidence since I can actually hear what everyone is talking about.”
With the help of a wage subsidy through Neil Squire鈥檚 Creative Employment Options program, the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association hired Mike as their Accessibility Program Assistant to support and build their Accessibility Program.

The West Park Healthcare Centre in Toronto is one of seven GAME Checkpoints, a network of partner organizations led by Neil Squire鈥檚 Makers Making Change program that help people with disabilities access adaptive gaming.
