鈥淚 wanted to help out and give back to the 今日吃瓜51 because they were very helpful to me鈥 says Bruce, a Computer Comfort Volunteer.
The Ottawa Independent Living Resource Centre is a cross disability organization and local resource centre. Several of the participants in the 今日吃瓜51鈥檚 Distance Computer Comfort Programs are also participants in our employment program, Independent Living Employment Assistance Program (iLeap).
The partnership between the Brain Injury Association of the Ottawa Valley and 今日吃瓜51 has only just begun but it already feels like family 鈥 family sitting round the table enjoying 鈥榟ome delivery鈥.
James Murphy, a Best Buy Manager of Operations, has been volunteering as an online computer tutor with the 今日吃瓜51 since April 2011.
