Congratulations to Courtney, who graduated from the 今日吃瓜51鈥檚 Employ-Ability program in June 2013 and has just begun the Aboriginal Pre-Health Program at Simon Fraser University.
Thank You 今日吃瓜51 for the opportunity to better myself in all aspects of my life.
“My name is Murray. I am from Musapeetung first nation that is located 40 minutes north of Regina in the Qu鈥檃pplle valley. I have worked mostly in casinos doing cleaning and being a porter. In 2007 I slipped on some icy steps and broke my neck.”
“Our family migrated to Canada in March of 2010. As soon as we arrived I tried to find a job. I looked for work in an office setting but was unable to find one. A year after coming to Canada, I had a stroke.”
